Opportunity. Hustle. Gratitude.By Eric Goetsch, Co-Founder, Revival Boxing Fitness & Wellness Eighteen months ago, I sent a simple text to my great friend and Revival co-founder, Jeff Jasso, who was living in Tennessee at the time: “I think you and I should open a boxing gym in the Milwaukee area. Can we discuss?” I had no idea that those few words would ignite a journey that would reshape my life. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a shared vision—powered by two additional co-founders, boundless open-mindedness, fearless creativity, and a genuine desire to uplift our community. Together, we didn’t just build a boxing gym. We built a one-of-a-kind destination for health, wellness, and longevity—a place where people can transform, grow, and discover what they’re truly capable of. As I wind down my first career at Milliman, I’ve been reflecting on what I believe were the three keys to success there: searching for and seizing opportunities, being a hustler, and showing gratitude. As I step into my second career and define my own vision for Revival, it’s no surprise that these same principles sit at the center of everything I hope we achieve. Searching for and seizing opportunities means staying curious, attentive, and open to what the world is offering. Opportunities rarely arrive with perfect timing or clarity—they hide in conversations, challenges, unexpected moments, and ideas that can feel uncomfortable at first. Revival’s mission is to continually offer our clients opportunities to elevate every part of their lives—through fitness, recovery, nutrition, wellness, education, and community. Success begins with the willingness to say “yes” to those possibilities. Being a hustler is what turns possibility into progress. It’s the early mornings and the late nights; the discipline to push past doubt; the determination to keep moving when motivation wavers. Hustling is less about grinding endlessly and more about persistence, intention, and refusing to settle for anything less than the vision you set for yourself. It’s showing up every day with purpose, even when the path forward isn’t easy. It’s my favorite quality in people—and at Revival, we aim to cultivate that mindset in every client who walks through our doors. Showing gratitude is the anchor that keeps the journey meaningful. Gratitude brings perspective—it reminds us to honor the people who have supported us, the setbacks that shaped us, the mentors who guided us, and the experiences that forged our resilience. Gratitude turns success from something you achieve into something you share. Every member of the Revival team has been lifted by gratitude on their own path, and we are eager to pass that same spirit along to you. I loved my first career more than I ever could have imagined, and I never expected to feel even more excited about my second. But here I am—truly blessed, deeply grateful, and ready for this next chapter. I can’t wait to share it with you.
